Our earth has a fixed amount of natural resources, many of which are already depleted.  Continued population growth strains these resources and each year there are fewer resources available.  If we want to leave our children and grandchildren with the same standard of living that we have enjoyed, we must do what we can to preserve our natural resources.  

Among the greatest threats to the future come from the things we throw away everyday.  When we throw away items that could be recycled, we diminish energy, water and other natural resources that could be saved.

Everyone of us can help by recycling antiques and collectibles.  Isn't that a fantastic way to help the environment?  By doing so we are making an investment in our children's and grandchildren's future at the same time that we are making a financial investment in our own future.  For the most part, antiques and collectibles increase in value.  

So do your part.  Don't buy new.  Buy an antique!
